# Disable Windows Firewall

### Step 1

Open:

* **Control Panel**

### Step 2

Click:

* **System and Security**
* Then **Windows Defender Firewall**

### Step 3

On the left side click:

* **Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off**

Under both:

* **Private network settings**
* **Public network settings**

Select:

* **Turn off Windows Defender Firewall (not recommended)**

Then click:

* **OK**
